Electric plated hard gold fingers are mainly used in for the PCB applications that require multiple insertions and removals. Compared with Electroless Nickel/Immersion Gold or HASL PCB fingers, Electric plated hard gold fingers have the advantages of high hardness, wear resistance, and durable, but the cost is very higher.
Our gold finger plating capability (thickness) is from 2mil to 50mil.
The process of electroplating gold fingers is more complicated than Electroless Nickel/Immersion Gold or HASL PCB fingers. The key processes are as follows:
Build electroplating leads in production films, cut Copper clad laminate boards, drill holes, copper-pattern transfer, electroplating copper and tin, etching, solder mask, electric plate gold fingers, routing, elect test, QC exam.
