Board Name (Part Number) is designed for customers to identify the PCB you are quoting for.
For example,if you type in "9044-06-1007B" for your part number, the quote ID you get will include "9044-06-1007B", such as 1L17C1-(9044-06-1007B).
Each time you quote, the quote ID 1L17C1 is changed, but 9044-06-1007B will be always same,maybe like 1L17C1-(9044-06-1007B) or so until you change to quote your other projects.
